Chili: do it

Had rave reviews of my Superbowl chili last night. I was worried because I cut down, no cut out, all the yummy fatty things that you can usually rely on to make good chili. I never really follow a recipe for chili, but here's how it went more or less.

Saute onions, bell pepper, poblano(I quasi roasted mine with my gas burner), and garlic. Add 1/4 cup chile powder and spices, such as cumin, oregano, paprika, coriander. Deglaze with half the bottle of beer you're drinking, add a big can of tomatoes, and a bit of water if there's not enough liquid. Dump in a couple cans of drained, rinsed beans, 2-3 chipotles in adobo, and a hunk (1-2 oz?) of chopped unsweetened dark chocolate. Cook til it tastes good, like an hour-ish.
