1 lb. ground turkey
1 small green apple, like Granny Smith
1 small white onion
1 stalk celery
1/4 teaspoon dried sage
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
salt and pepper
1 can cranberry sauce (the kind that you can cut into slices)
Sourdough English Muffins
Red leaf lettuce
Extra sharp cheddar cheese(optional)

Grate the apple, onion and celery until you almost grate your fingers off, then mince the rest very finely. Combine this mixture with the ground turkey, herbs, and S&P and form patties. Add the apple mixture gradually, sometimes it is too much for the amount of meat. The patties should still be mostly turkey or they'll fall apart. Grill or George Foreman or pan fry, then serve on a toasted sourdough english muffin with a slice of cranberry, cheese, and lettuce.
